It’s raining and cold. Since I can’t observe or capture any new images I figured I would share some images I captured of a few nebula from way back in the summer and fall of 2010. These were all captured with my Orion StarShoot DS II Color Camera through my AstroTech AT66ED and stacked with DeepSkyStacker.
Messier 16 (M16) – The Eagle Nebula – Stack of 10 x 2 minute exposures taken on September 4, 2010
Messier 8 (M8) – The Lagoon Nebula – Stack of 20 x 1 minute exposures taken on August 14, 2010
Messier 17 (M17) – The Swan Nebula – Stack of 20 x 1 minute exposures taken on August 14, 2010
Messier 20 (M20) – The Trifid Nebula – Stack of 21 x 1 minute exposures taken on July 4, 2010.
NGC6960 – The Veil Nebula – Stack of 34 x 2 minute exposures taken on 11/28/2010
These were posted on the original SuffolkSky.com which is long gone now, I am glad I found them to share. Enjoy.
Looks like the next chance for a clear sky is either Friday or Saturday.
